Announcement: Merger of Omise and PAYSBUY

PAYSBUY would like to inform you that on Monday 3, July 2017, we have signed a merger agreement with Omise, a leading payment gateway in online payment service. This consequently PAYSBUY to be directed by Omise immediately. This merger of Omise and PAYSBUY would benefit new experience in our offerings, which is fast, convenient and easy to use.

Also, all partners can continue to service and they could join the business continuously including the innovating and re-inventing in this business. This investment would enable us to grow our platform and build strong products more rapidly, to become major player in the payment service ecosystem in Southeast Asia. During the transition, both companies have confirmed that their merchants can continue to process as they are doing today.

FAQ

How will this change in ownership impact me?
There will be no impact to you. Your existing contract and terms will remain as is. We are in process of evaluating core competencies of products and services offered by both companies and if there is change, our sales team will be in touch with you at the earliest.

Do I need to do anything?
During this transition period, it’s still business as usual for you. Rest assured that both Omise 
and Paysbuy will be running operations as normal.

Do I need to go through KYC again? (for Paysbuy merchants only)
Both of our teams are working together to make this transition as smooth and seamless for our customers as possible. You don’t have to do anything!

Will my pricing change?
No! Your pricing and contractual terms remain as is. 


What about the original contract I signed and the MDR?
Your existing contract, terms and pricing will remain as is.

Who do I contact for support, Omise or Paysbuy?
Support structure remains the same. Please continue to communicate with your existing support lane. 

Will I fund transfer/settlement process change?
No! All processes would remain the same. 


Will service quality/policies change?
No! They will be as per your existing contract. 

 
Will there be any staffing changes that might affect me?
We are doing our very best to make this transaction a smooth and seamless process for everyone. At this stage, there are no staffing changes. You can continue to engage with your current Sales Representative and Support Team for any questions you may have.
